Shanghai Systence welcomed over 20 students and faculty from the University of Michigan Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute for an in-depth company tour. The visit featured insights into advanced automation technologies, discussions on career planning, and advice on navigating the tech industry, inspiring future innovators and industry leaders.
On December 23, Shanghai Systence welcomed more than 20 students and faculty from the University of Michigan Shanghai Jiao Tong Joint Institute for a company tour. The event aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by letting participants experience modern production processes.
The tour began with a tour of our R&D and manufacturing facilities. Headed by Systense representative Mansur Ayazbayev, the group saw our advanced technology and design processes gaining a deeper understanding of the technologies used in the automation industry as well as learning more about company history and business.
Later in the visit, Liu Aiguo, General Manager of Systence, had a discussion session with SJTU students. In the Q&A session, topics that ranged from technological innovation to career planning were answered. Students asked substantial questions about how to make decisions regarding choosing between continuing studies or going directly into the industry and how to find opportunities in the developing technology industry. To this, Mr.Liu shared his rich experience and gave practical advice to inspire these students onward in pursuit of their ambitions.
Mansur is actually also coming from UMSJTUJI, Class of 2024, presently working at Systence. He shared his experience of working at the company, where the friendly working environment at Systence allowed him to grow professionally. 2 points mentioned by him are constant training and career opportunities.
This visit developed students' understanding of the automation industry and brought some practical inspiration in career planning and technological innovation. Students and teachers reported that this experience gave them a broader perspective and extra motivation to go deeper into tech industry in their future careers.
